        • Lots of assorted prizes from our local sponsors
        Register on-line
To register, please go to our on-line volunteer registration website, enter/update your contact information (so that we can send you a confirmation email and enter you for the draw), select the times you are available and select the position that you most prefer.

Volunteers are especially urgently needed on the bike and run courses. These race marshals are vital to monitor car/pedestrian traffic, and provide encouragement to our athletes. 250 positions are needed on the bike course alone.

And don't forget to join us for the Volunteer Appreciation Party, Wednesday, August 22 - Laurel Packinghouse Building (1304 Ellis Street); 5-7pm. Pizza from Boston Pizza and refreshments from Tree Brewing and Covert Farms Family Estate Winery will be served. Draw Prizes will be awarded!

Be part of this community event by giving back to the active lifestyle community of Kelowna.

Western Canadian Youth Championships and Kids of Steel

The Youth races start at age 8. Kids of Steel triathlons are meant to offer kids and young adults the opportunity to experience the sport of triathlon in a positive environment. The distances are much shorter than those in adult triathlons, and change as participants mature. Most kids are fit enough to finish a Kids of Steel triathlon successfully and have fun at the same time.
