As many of you know, Jennifer's husband former mayor John Hindle, started the Apple back in 1983. Jennifer was involved every year for 29 years and continued to be involved even after her husband passed away. I think she was very proud of how the event has caught on and grown over the years. She loved to see and meet the people who came to participate in the Apple as either a racer or as a volunteer. She always seemed to have a reason to smile. She was very inspirational and will be missed.
